Academic Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, demonstrations, and clinical teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop, review, and update course curriculum in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Mentor and supervise postgraduate dissertations, thesis work, and research projects.
- Assess student performance through examinations, clinical evaluations, and continuous assessments.
- Promote evidence-based learning and cutting-edge teaching methodologies.
Clinical
Responsibilities - Supervise diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of orthodontic patients.
- Guide students in the execution of fixed, removable, functional, and interceptive orthodontic treatments.
- Ensure quality patient care while adhering to ethical and clinical standards.
- Monitor infection control practices and patient safety protocols within the department. Qualification - BDS from a recognized institution.
- MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from a recognized university.
- Registration with the State Dental Council/Dental Council of India (DCI) or relevant regulatory authority.
- Eligibility as per the latest Dental Council of India (DCI) norms for the post of Professor.
Experience - Teaching and clinical experience as prescribed by the latest DCI regulations for appointment as Professor in Orthodontics.
- Minimum 4 years of Demonstrated experience in postgraduate teaching, research supervision, and academic administration.
- Strong publication record in indexed journals is preferred.
