Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru for a Primavera P6 Planner/Scheduler in the Power Utility/EPC sector. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 for power and EPC projects, including baselines, updates, and progress tracking.

The professional will coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate resource loading, cost integration, and schedule alignment with project milestones. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing schedule risks and variances,



preparing reports and dashboards for leadership, and recommending corrective actions to keep projects on track. The role also includes ensuring compliance with organizational standards, supporting tender and bid schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 for planning, scheduling, resource loading, and project progress tracking in power utility/EPC environments.
- Experience in power generation, transmission, distribution, or EPC projects, with solid understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction workflows.
- Ability to analyze project data, identify schedule risks, variances, and critical paths, and prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders on-site.
- 5–10 years of relevant project planning/scheduling experience, preferably in the power utility or EPC sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical) or a related technical field; advanced certifications in project management or Primavera P6 are an advantage.
- Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools; knowledge of cost control and earned value management is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adhere to timelines and quality standards.
