- Hands-on experience in the modelling, development and deployment of models.
- Solid proficiency in Python for model development, data analysis and automation with the ability to translate technical and business requirements into clean, efficient and maintainable code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and learn new techniques.
- Experience working with large time-series datasets (prices, load, weather, generation, dispatch). Good to Have Skills • Exposure to machine learning or data-driven methods applied to forecasting or energy system operations is a plus.
- Relevant publications in reputed journals.
- Experience in formulating and solving optimization problems, including:
- Linear and Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (LP / MILP) • Stochastic optimization and simulation Tools/software - PLEXOS, PyPSA
