Manager- AIS-140 Business & Government Liaison

Reporting To: Business Head / Strategy Head

Role Objective To drive AIS-140 business growth in Karnataka and South markets through strong government liaisoning, regulatory alignment, and strategic partnerships, ensuring successful onboarding and execution of large-scale fleet deployments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Government Liaisoning (Core Focus)

- Establish and manage relationships with:

State Transport Departments (RTO / STA) Smart City / Transport Authorities
- Act as the primary interface for AIS-140 approvals, empanelment, and compliance alignment
- Ensure smooth coordination for:

Device approvals Integration with state command centers

Regulatory updates and adherence

1. AIS-140 Business Development

- Drive acquisition of AIS-140 projects across:

Government tenders

State transport undertakings (STUs)

Private fleet operators and school transport
- Own end-to-end sales lifecycle:

Opportunity identification pitch negotiation closure
1. Tendering & Compliance Management

- Lead preparation and submission of:

RFPs / tenders / bids
- Collaborate with internal teams for:

Technical documentation (AIS-140 compliance)

Commercial proposals

- Ensure 100% compliance with tender requirements and timelines

1. Stakeholder Management

- Act as a bridge between:





Government authorities Internal operations & deployment teams

Clients

- Ensure seamless handover from sales to execution

1. Ecosystem & Partnership Development

- Build and manage partnerships with:

OEMs

Transport aggregators

Channel partners / system integrators
- Strengthen presence in regional transport ecosystem

Key Requirements (Must-Have)
- 4–5 years experience in:

Government liaisoning (mandatory)

B2G / enterprise sales

Telematics / IoT / mobility domain
- Strong, proven experience in:

AIS-140 ecosystem and compliance processes Working with State Transport Authorities / RTOs

Tendering and bid management

- Demonstrated ability to:

Navigate government processes and approvals Build long-term institutional relationships

Drive closures in a complex sales workplace

Success Metrics (KPIs)

- Number of government partnerships / empanelments
- Tenders participated vs won
- Revenue generated from AIS-140 projects
- Time taken for approvals and onboarding
- Conversion rate (lead closure)

Good to Have
- Existing network within Karnataka Transport Department / South India STUs/North india
- Experience in smart mobility / ITS / telematics projects
- Familiarity with AIS-140 certified devices and integration workflows
