Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP OpenText VIM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), OpenText solutions, and Accounts Payable automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and optimizing VIM solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders to streamline invoice processing and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and implement SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions to support automated Accounts Payable business processes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable functional and technical solution designs.
- Lead workshops with business users to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
- Configure and customize OpenText VIM process flows, workflows, document processing, and approval processes.
- Design and optimize end-to-end invoice processing solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide subject matter expertise on SAP OpenText VIM, OCR integration, document management, and digital content processing.
- Develop creative enhancements to improve business process efficiency, automation, and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams, including FI/CO, MM, Basis, and technical teams, to ensure seamless integration.
- Prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements.
- Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and production deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to VIM workflows, invoice processing, and document management.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.




- Provide user training, documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure solutions comply with organizational governance, security standards, and SAP/OpenText best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in SAP OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
- Strong experience implementing and supporting SAP OpenText VIM solutions.
- Hands-on experience with OpenText Invoice Capture Center (ICC) or Intelligent Capture for SAP Solutions.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) business processes and invoice lifecycle management.
- Experience with SAP FI/MM integration and procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience in configuring VIM document types, workflows, process types, exception handling, and approval strategies.
- Good understanding of OpenText Archive Server, document management, and digital content processing.
- Experience in functional specifications, testing, defect management, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Workflow and Fiori applications.
- Exposure to OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) is an added advantage.
- SAP or OpenText VIM certification is preferred.
- Experience in multiple end-to-end implementation projects is highly desirable.
