General Manager – Planning (Interior Fit-Out Projects) Role Summary

Lead the planning function for large-scale commercial interior fit-out projects by ensuring effective project scheduling, resource planning, progress monitoring, and timely delivery. Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, vendors, and management to drive project execution while maintaining quality, cost, and timeline objectives. Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and manage project schedules from project award through handover.

Prepare baseline programmes, detailed execution schedules, recovery plans, and milestone trackers.

Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, recommending corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, design, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and clients.

Track project milestones, resource allocation, procurement status, and critical path activities.

Analyze schedule variances, risks, and constraints, and implement mitigation strategies.

Support tender planning by preparing execution schedules and manpower deployment plans.

Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, subcontractors, and workforce through proactive planning.





Maintain project dashboards, MIS reports, and KPI trackers for multiple ongoing projects.

Drive standardization of planning processes, documentation, and reporting across projects.

Ensure compliance with contractual milestones, quality standards, safety requirements, and organizational procedures. Key Skills

15+ years of experience in commercial interior fit-out and turnkey projects.

Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, procurement planning, and execution strategies.

Experience coordinating with architects, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments.

Proficiency in project planning software and Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
