Job Summary

We are hiring a GA Layout Design Engineer for a leading Indian MNC specializing in water and wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in civil design, GA layouts, AutoCAD drafting, and preparation of engineering drawings for STP/ETP/WTP projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed civil design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD for STP/ETP/WTP projects.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) Layouts, site layouts, grading plans, drainage layouts, utility layouts, road layouts, and stormwater management drawings.
- Prepare plan & profile drawings, cross-sections, puddle pipe drawings, railing drawings, foundation details, and construction drawings.
- Assist design engineers in project planning and preparation of engineering documentation.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and support preparation of engineering reports and permit documentation.
- Review, revise,



and update drawings based on engineering comments and client requirements.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, process, piping, and structural engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, client specifications, and applicable engineering codes.
- Maintain engineering documentation, revision history, and project document control.
- 5–10 years of experience in civil design and drafting for STP/ETP/WTP or process plant projects.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Experience preparing GA layouts, civil drawings, construction drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Positive understanding of multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
