About the Role

Kiwi Enterprises is looking for an experienced Senior Footwear Designer & Merchandiser who has a solid understanding of footwear design, product development, sourcing, and merchandising. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing the complete product lifecycle from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

- Design innovative footwear collections based on market trends and seasonal requirements.
- Develop concepts, sketches, technical drawings, and product specifications.
- Coordinate with factories, vendors, and suppliers throughout the product development process.
- Source materials, trims, components, and accessories for footwear production.
- Prepare tech packs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and production documentation.
- Ensure product quality, fit, comfort, and timely sample development.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure smooth execution.




- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new trends.
- Manage merchandising activities, costing, sampling, and production timelines.
- Follow up on sample approvals and bulk production schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear design and merchandising.
- Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in product development and factory coordination.
- Good understanding of costing, sourcing, and merchandising.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Leather Design, or a related field.
- Experience working with premium or fashion footwear brands will be an advantage.
