JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – GARMENT EXPORT COMPANY

Rainbow International is looking for a Junior Accountant with basic knowledge of Tally and day-to-day accounting.

The candidate does not need to know all aspects of export accounting. Additional accounting and company-specific work will be taught on the job.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, accurate, organised and willing to learn.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Daily accounting entries in Tally
- Purchase entries
- Sales entries
- Payment entries
- Receipt entries
- Journal entries
- Bank entries
- Petty cash entries and maintenance
- Maintain purchase and expense bills
- Maintain supplier/vendor accounts
- Customer ledger maintenance
- Basic debtor and creditor reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation
- Check invoices and supporting documents before entry
- Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers and accounting documents
- Assist in preparation of GST-related accounting data
- Basic knowledge of GST/TDS preferred
- Assist senior management/accountant with monthly accounts
- Follow up internally for missing bills and vouchers




- Maintain expense records
- Assist with salary/payroll records when required
- Maintain accounting data systematically in Excel
- Assist with export/shipping and banking accounting documentation as training is provided
- Other basic accounts and administrative work as required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

- B.Com preferred
- 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred
- Basic working knowledge of Tally / TallyPrime is compulsory
- Basic understanding of debit and credit
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS preferred
- Basic Excel knowledge
- Comfortable with email and computer work
- Good numerical accuracy
- Proper record-keeping habits
- Willingness to learn
- Responsible and punctual
- Candidates residing in or around Noida preferred

SIGNIFICANT

The candidate should be comfortable doing routine accounting work and maintaining accurate records.

Strong basic Tally knowledge is essential. Advanced export accounting knowledge is not required and can be taught.

Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month depending upon experience, Tally knowledge and capability.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
