Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD & EDI Lead Consultant with 15+ years of experience in SAP Sales & Distribution and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementations, support, and transformation projects within the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, customer integration, EDI transactions, SAP integration technologies, and end-to-end SAP SD configuration.

The candidate will play a critical role in driving business process improvements, leading global implementations, supporting large-scale manufacturing operations, and managing EDI integrations with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and third-party applications.

SAP SD Functional Responsibilities

Lead SAP SD solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities.
Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution blueprinting.
Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

EDI Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support EDI integrations with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.

Manage EDI transactions such as:
ANSI X12
850 Purchase Order
855 PO Acknowledgement
856 ASN
810 Invoice
997 Functional Acknowledgement
862 Shipping Schedule
830 Forecast
EDIFACT Messages
ORDERS
DESADV
INVOIC
DELFOR
Coordinate with external trading partners during onboarding and testing activities.
Troubleshoot EDI mapping, IDocs, communication failures, and integration issues.
Ensure seamless processing of inbound and outbound EDI documents.

Integration Responsibilities

Work closely with:
SAP MM
SAP PP
SAP WM/EWM
SAP TM
SAP FI/CO
SAP CRM

Manage interfaces involving:
IDocs
ALE




API Integrations
SAP PI/PO
SAP CPI/BTP Integration Suite
Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.

Leadership Responsibilities

Lead offshore and onsite SAP teams.
Mentor junior consultants and business analysts.
Manage incident, problem, and change management activities.
Participate in project planning, resource estimation, and stakeholder communications.
Drive best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pricing & Rebates
Billing
Credit Management
Availability Check (ATP)
Output Determination
Intercompany Sales
Returns Management
Experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

EDI Expertise

Extensive hands-on experience with:
EDI/IDoc configuration
ANSI X12
EDIFACT
Trading Partner Management
Mapping and Testing

Good understanding and working knowledge of:
Seeburger
ESB
Flexibility to work with any other middleware

Technical Knowledge

IDocs
ALE
SAP PI/PO
SAP CPI

ABAP Debugging (functional level

Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

SAP S/4HANA Sales Certification.
Experience in Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing, or Process Manufacturing industries.
Experience leading global rollouts and support engagements.
Solid customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
