- Content Strategy: Determine the editorial direction, tone, and visual layout of print issues or digital platforms
- Final Approval: Make the ultimate decisions on story selection, layout, and what gets published.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all content is fact-checked, grammatically correct, and meets legal and ethical standards.
- Budgeting: Develop, implement, and manage financial budgets for the editorial department.
