Job Summary The Credit Card Operations Reconciliation Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of credit card transactions, settlements, and General Ledger (GL) accounts. The role involves identifying and resolving discrepancies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of credit card transactions.
- Reconcile card network settlements (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, etc.) with the bank's internal systems.
- Monitor and investigate unmatched or failed transactions.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve reconciliation breaks within defined turnaround times.
- Coordinate with finance, IT, payment networks, merchants,
and other operational teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate posting of transactions into General Ledger (GL) accounts.
- Prepare reconciliation reports, MIS, and exception reports for management.
- Support chargeback, refund, reversal, and settlement-related reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Participate in system testing, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes.
