Position: Consultant Neurologist

About the Role

Inland Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and patient-focused Consultant Neurologist to diagnose and manage disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neurological care through outpatient consultations, inpatient management, emergency services, and team-oriented multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate patients with neurological disorders.
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, Parkinson's disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, movement disorders, and neuromuscular diseases.
- Provide inpatient care, conduct daily ward rounds, and manage neurological emergencies.
- Assess and stabilize acute stroke patients and coordinate evidence-based stroke management.
- Interpret neurological investigations, including CT/MRI scans, EEG, EMG/NCV, and other diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with intensivists,



neurosurgeons, physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, rehabilitation, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
- Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of neurological services.

Qualifications
- MBBS with DM/DNB (Neurology) from a recognized institution.
- Valid National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council registration.
- Relevant clinical experience is preferred.

Pay: ₹162,837.03 - ₹300,000.00 per year
