We are seeking a commercially driven finance professional who can transform financial and operational data into meaningful business insights. This role is focused on management reporting, business analytics, profitability analysis, budgeting support, and performance monitoring rather than routine accounting or taxation.

The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in Excel, comfortable working with large datasets, and capable of preparing insightful MIS reports that enable management to make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Management Information System (MIS)

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop dashboards to monitor key business and financial metrics.
- Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure timely dissemination of business performance reports.

Business Analytics

- Analyse sales trends across products, brands, territories, channels, and customer segments.
- Identify opportunities for improving revenue, margins, and operational efficiency.
- Perform profitability analysis at product, customer, channel, and business-unit levels.
- Track KPIs and highlight key business exceptions and trends.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

- Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
- Conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis with detailed commentary.
- Monitor departmental spending against approved budgets.
- Prepare financial models to support strategic decision-making.





Commercial Finance

- Analyse pricing, discounts, promotional schemes, and contribution margins.
- Evaluate the financial impact of new business initiatives.
- Support management with investment and cost-benefit analysis.
- Prepare business cases for new projects.

Data & Process Improvement

- Build Excel-based analytical models and dashboards.
- Work closely with ERP, Sales, Operations, and Accounts teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Recommend automation opportunities to reduce manual reporting.
- Standardize reporting formats across the organization.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Accounts teams.
- Translate business requirements into actionable financial insights.
- Present analytical findings to senior management.

Candidate Profile:

Education

- B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance)
- CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

- 3 to 6 years in Business Finance, FP&A;, MIS, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis.
- Experience in B2C, Retail, E-commerce, Healthcare, Pharma, FMCG, or Consumer Goods businesses preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, Power Pivot).
- Solid analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Experience with ERP systems.




- Power BI or Tableau experience would be a significant advantage.
- SQL knowledge is an added benefit.
