We are looking for an Assist GPT Automation Specialist for a focused engagement expected to last approximately three to four months. The specialist will identify, design, develop, and implement automation opportunities around the Assist GPT platform and related business processes.

The role will focus on reducing manual activities, improving workflow efficiency, enabling repeatable AI-driven processes, and integrating Assist GPT with enterprise systems.

The final scope may be refined based on further stakeholder discussions and confirmation of the required platform-specific skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct discovery sessions to identify automation opportunities around Assist GPT.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify repetitive or manual activities suitable for automation.
- Design end-to-end automation workflows using APIs, scripts, workflow platforms, or robotic process automation tools.
- Develop automations that connect Assist GPT with enterprise systems and data sources.
- Build workflows for document ingestion, content retrieval, prompt execution, response validation, routing, and escalation.
- Automate recurring data processing, reporting, testing, monitoring, and administrative activities.
- Develop reusable automation components and templates.
- Configure event-driven, scheduled, and user-triggered workflows.
- Build integration services and API connectors where required.
- Implement logging, exception handling, retry mechanisms, and alerting.
- Ensure automations comply with security, privacy, access-control, and data-governance requirements.
- Test automation workflows across normal, exception, and failure scenarios.
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, configuration guides, and support procedures.
- Train internal teams on operating and maintaining the automations.
- Measure time savings, error reduction, utilisation, and business value delivered.
- Support deployment, stabilisation,



knowledge transfer, and handover.
- Coordinate with developers, QA analysts, business analysts, and platform stakeholders.
- Recommend opportunities for extending automation after the initial engagement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in automation engineering, application integration, workflow development, or software development.
- Experience developing automations using Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or another scripting language.
- Experience integrating applications through REST APIs, webhooks, databases, and enterprise connectors.
- Familiarity with workflow or automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, ServiceNow Flow Designer, Zapier, Make, n8n, or equivalent.
- Robust understanding of authentication, API security, logging, exception handling, and production support.
- Ability to analyse business processes and translate them into automation workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience documenting technical workflows and operational procedures.
- Ability to work independently within a short, outcome-focused engagement.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with generative AI, GPT-based applications, conversational AI, or AI copilots.
- Experience integrating with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with prompt workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, document processing, and AI agents.
- Experience automating testing and ongoing monitoring for AI applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise knowledge-management or customer-service platforms.
- Experience with cloud functions, serverless workflows, containers, or microservices.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, data privacy, AI security, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Experience delivering short-term automation or proof-of-concept engagements.
