DA (Diploma in Anaesthesia)

Registration

Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

Experienced candidates preferred

Candidates should be capable of independently managing Operation Theatre (OT) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) services

Key Responsibilities

Administer general, regional, and local anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgeries

Conduct pre-operative patient assessment and anaesthesia planning

Monitor patients intra-operatively and ensure safe anaesthesia management

Manage post-operative recovery and pain management

Provide critical care support and manage ICU patients

Handle airway management, ventilator care, and emergency resuscitation

Coordinate with surgeons, intensivists, OT staff, and nursing teams for comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate anaesthesia records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards





Skills Required

Strong expertise in Anaesthesia and Critical Care

Excellent airway management and emergency response skills

Good clinical judgment and decision-making abilities

Strong communication and teamwork skills
