Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Proposal Engineers to prepare technical and commercial proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of treatment technologies, tender evaluation, project estimation, and proposal documentation. This role requires close coordination with engineering, procurement, and business development teams to deliver accurate and competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for ETP, STP, WTP, and ZLD projects.
- Review customer requirements, RFQs, tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Develop preliminary Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs;, equipment layouts, and treatment system configurations.
- Perform technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and project cost estimations.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for equipment selection and proposal preparation.
- Support technical discussions, client meetings, and pre-bid activities as required.
- Maintain proposal documentation, costing records, and technical assumptions.
- Provide technical support to business development and sales teams during project acquisition.
- Stay updated with water treatment technologies, engineering standards, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional specialization in Water & Wastewater Engineering is an advantage.

Experience





- 5–10 years of experience in proposal engineering within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for industrial or municipal projects.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of ETP, STP, WTP, ZLD, MBR, UF, RO, and Physico-Chemical Treatment technologies.
- Experience with tender analysis, BOQ preparation, project estimation, and costing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and meet deadlines.
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
