Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certinia Billing & Revenue Recognition Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Certinia Billing Central and Revenue Recognition solutions on the Salesforce platform. The consultant will work closely with finance, accounting, operations, and project teams to automate billing processes and optimize revenue lifecycle management.

Billing Management

Configure Certinia Billing Central

Design billing processes for:

Subscription Billing

Usage Billing

Milestone Billing

Time & Material Billing

Fixed Price Billing

Recurring Billing

Configure billing schedules

Configure billing events

Create invoice generation processes

Configure invoice grouping rules

Configure invoice templates

Configure credit notes and debit notes

Configure tax calculations

Configure payment terms

Configure customer billing preferences

Configure multi-currency billing





Configure billing adjustments

Support billing integrations with ERP systems

Revenue Recognition

Configure and maintain revenue recognition rules including:

Straight-line recognition

Milestone-based recognition

Event-based recognition

Percentage of completion

Project completion

Subscription revenue recognition

Deferred revenue schedules

Contract modifications

Revenue reallocations

Revenue reversals

Catch-up adjustments

Revenue deferrals

Revenue accruals

Implement revenue schedules compliant with:

IFRS 15

ASC 606

GAAP
