Job Description – Account Manager (Accounts & Finance)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager to oversee the accounting and financial operations of multiple group companies. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, cash flow management, taxation, audits, and financial controls while supporting management with timely MIS and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting activities for multiple group companies.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger balances.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee vendor payments, customer collections, and aging analysis.
- Monitor cash flow requirements and working capital.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of customer, vendor, and inter-company accounts.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory returns.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance across all group entities.
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Generate monthly MIS reports, profitability analysis, and variance reports.
- Lead statutory,



internal, and tax audits.
- Ensure implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls.
- Develop and improve accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
- Manage banking relationships and day-to-day treasury operations.
- Monitor fund utilization, banking facilities, and cash flow planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team.
- Allocate work, review performance, and ensure adherence to timelines.

Qualifications

- CA or CA Inter preferred.
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably managing multiple entities or group companies.
- Robust knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Tally Prime.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
