Role Purpose- nResponsible to protect workers from job-related injuries and illnesses, identify and mitigate physical, chemical and biological hazards in the workplace as well as improving training and communications that clearly explain the company objectives for promoting a safe and healthy workspace. nnRoles u0026 Responsibilities- n- Make the yearly safety calendar in order to improve the safety activities n- Execute risk assessment u0026 KYT (Danger prediction) process as per the plan to control/minimize the positional hazard in the process n- Co-ordinate with the respective department head to set the safety process parameters n- Organize monthly departmental audits for all the plants in order to ensure safe practices u0026 environment for the employees n- Conduct the plant safety inspection/safety patrol throughout the plant to ensure to identify/minimize the unsafe acts /condition n- Prepare the safety manual and update on frequent intervals in order to ensure the correct safety standard n- Implement the work permit system in order to regulate the non-routine works n- Ensure quality and availability of PPE n- Design and conduct safety training and educational programmes for the prevention of personal injuries and safety awareness n- Organize safety and environmental awareness trainings for all the operators/ staff (current joinees) n- Conduct trainings as per requirement of the organization regards to safety, environmental, awareness and induction trainings to all employees n- Investigate all accidents and near miss incidents to avoid them in the future n- Coordinate with all departments to provide assistance in analyse all accidents and take countermeasures n- Support u0026 co-ordinate smooth functioning safety committee and tool box/communication meetings n- Execute the all applicable legal compliance related to local /state level safety laws n- Prepare u0026 execute annual 5s plan in order to improve the 5s standards n- Support the general administration activities nnDesired Industry / Functional Exposure- nKnowledge about the Protected practices, Safety u0026 Environmental standards, legal requirements, Communication Skills, Presentation skills nnMust have key areas- nSafety System, Safety trainings, Accident reporting u0026 Investigation, Safety Committee, Legal compliance, 5s system, Administration nnRole Requirements- n-B.E./B.Tech./Diploma- Mechanical + Diploma- Safety/HSE (must have) n-8-12 years of total experience n-Industry Exposure- Manufacturing/Auto/Chemical .
