Job Description: As a Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Production in Ferro Alloys, you will oversee Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) operations, drive process and cost optimization, and manage plant performance. The role requires 12-15+ years of experience and ensures safety, quality, and production targets are achieved. Core Responsibilities

- Operational Management: Direct daily smelting operations for ferroalloys (e.g., Ferro Silicon, Ferro Chrome, Ferro Manganese) while managing raw material inputs and tapping processes.
- Process & Cost Optimization: Implement strategies to minimize operational losses, reduce power consumption, and maximize profitability while producing value-added products.
- Resource Planning: Ensure an optimal inventory of raw materials, electrodes, and consumables to prevent production downtime.
- Quality & Compliance:



Maintain stringent quality control standards, ensure environmental compliance, and enforce workplace safety protocols.
- Team Leadership: Mentor technical teams, provide skills training, and foster continuous improvement across the plant.

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech (Metallurgy) or B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry).
- Experience: 15 to 20 years in ferro alloy production (especially in large 9MVA to 18MVA arc furnaces).
- Skills: Robust technical leadership, production planning, and process control expertise.
