The Service Transition Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful transition of projects and changes from development to operations ensuring seamless service delivery and minimal disruption to our customers This role will involve managing the lifecycle of all changes ensuring that the appropriate processes and governance are followed while balancing risk and business needs
Key Responsibilities
Service Transition
Develop and maintain the service transition framework ensuring alignment with HSBCs overall strategy and objectives
Lead the planning and coordination of service transition activities managing resources timelines and risks effectively
Collaborate closely with project managers service owners and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely transition of projects and changes
Ensure that new applications are introduced to Production are compliant with the Banks supportability standards and Risk framework
Produce regular and ad hoc reporting on the progress of Transitions to senior set of stakeholders
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science Business or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in service transition change management or a related area preferably within the financial services industry
Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects and transitions
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and change management principles
Familiarity with global payment systems processes and technologies

Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate crossfunctional teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential risks and opportunities
