Job Description:

- Lead and manage all operations of the Wire Rod Mill (WRM) to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop production plans and ensure smooth execution of rolling mill operations as per business requirements.
- Monitor billet charging, rolling, finishing, cooling, coiling, and dispatch processes for maximum productivity.
- Optimize mill performance, rolling parameters, yield, energy consumption, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with SMS, maintenance, quality, production planning, and dispatch departments for seamless operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and process optimization.
- Ensure product quality meets customer specifications and applicable industry standards.
- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), downtime, productivity, and implement corrective actions.




- Lead preventive and shutdown maintenance planning in coordination with mechanical and electrical teams.
- Manage manpower planning, shift operations, team development, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Prepare production MIS reports, KPI dashboards, budgeting, and operational performance reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, environmental norms, and company policies.
- Candidates with extensive experience in Wire Rod Mill operations, integrated steel plants, and senior leadership roles in the steel industry will be preferred.
