Job Description: . Safety Leadership & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements such as Factories Act, OSHA standards, GPCB, Pollution Control Board, etc.

- Develop and implement plant safety policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans.

- Conduct internal safety audits, inspections, and ensure timely closure of non-compliances.

2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Management

- Perform Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and HAZOP for chemical processes.

- Monitor high-risk activities such as confined space entry, hot work, chemical handling, material movement, etc.

- Investigate incidents/accidents/near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

3. Training & Awareness

- Conduct safety training programs for employees, contract workers, and new joiners.





- Organize toolbox talks, mock drills, safety campaigns, and awareness programs.

- Promote a solid safety culture within the organization.

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain and update safety documentation, MSDS, permits, and legal records.

- Prepare monthly safety reports, KPIs, accident statistics, and present to management.

- Ensure proper documentation of ISO 45001/14001 or other safety management systems.

5. Team Management

- Lead and mentor the safety team, including Safety Officers and EHS executives.

- Coordinate with production, maintenance, HR, and other departments for safety implementation.
