Job Description:

Role Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Geotechnical Manager – Offshore geotechnical Design to lead and
deliver technical excellence across our offshore projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep
expertise in foundation engineering, soil-structure interaction, and numerical modelling for offshore
structures. Experience handling Middle East (KSA/UAE/Qatar) offshore projects is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
 Lead geotechnical design and engineering for offshore structures such as: Oil & gas
platforms (jack-up, fixed) Monopiles, suction piles, mooring anchors, Subsea pipelines and
cable route Ports, jetties, and breakwaters.
 Review and interpret marine geotechnical investigation data (boreholes, CPT, lab tests)
 Carry out advanced numerical analysis for foundation performance using tools like PLAXIS
2D/3D, FLAC, SLOPE/W, Midas
 Ensure compliance with international standards.
 Prepare and review design reports, calculation notes, drawings, and presentations for clients
 Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marine survey contractors and offshore
consultants
 Interact directly with international clients, especially those in the Middle East region (KSA,
UAE)
 Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and review their work
 Contribute to business development, proposal preparation, and technical solutioning
 Support R&D; and innovation in offshore foundation technologies

Required Skills & Expertise:




 In-depth understanding of offshore geotechnical engineering principles
 Capability of interpreting geotechnical reports
 Proven experience with offshore foundation design (piles, anchors, shallow and deep
foundations)
 Hands-on with design software: PLAXIS, GeoStudio Suite, Settle3, GRLWEAP, LPILE, Midas
etc.,
 Familiarity with offshore investigation techniques and data interpretation
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
 Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
 Understanding of offshore operational challenges, HSE requirements, and GCC project
delivery standards

Preferred Experience:
 Experience in handling offshore projects for clients like ARAMCO, ADNOC, NMDC, Saipem,
McDermott, Hereema, Technip, ONGC, Petronas etc
 Exposure to offshore wind projects and renewable infrastructure is an added advantage
 Strong background in offshore site investigation planning and interpretation
Educational Qualification:
 Phd., M.Tech / M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering (Civil)
 Certifications in offshore geotechnics or marine foundation engineering are a plus
