Role Overview

The Senior Counsellor – Cybersecurity will guide and mentor students and working professionals toward career excellence in Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics, and Network Defense. This role combines career counselling, program advisory, and performance-driven admissions responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and professionals on cybersecurity career paths, certifications, and global opportunities.
- Effectively communicate the value and uniqueness of Technovalley’s cybersecurity programs (e.g., CEH, CHFI, CSA, and PG Diplomas).
- Drive admissions through professional consultations, follow-ups, and lead management.
- Achieve monthly enrolment and revenue targets through structured pipelines.
- Conduct webinars,



orientation sessions, and online counselling events.
- Maintain accurate data of prospects and conversions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams for campaign and event support.
- Stay updated on global cybersecurity trends, certifications, and job roles.
- Present weekly and monthly reports on performance and conversions.

Requirements

- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in academic counselling, preferably in IT or cybersecurity programs.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Excellent understanding of global cybersecurity certifications and career paths.
- Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and Google Workspace tools.
- Target-oriented with a proven record of achieving admission or sales goals.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience counselling for EC-Council, CompTIA, or OffSec programs.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity domains like Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, and Forensics.
- Ability to host live sessions, webinars, and placement promotion events.
- Leadership skills to guide junior counsellors and interns.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
