Academic Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, demonstrations, and clinical teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Develop, review, and update course curriculum in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
Mentor and supervise postgraduate dissertations, thesis work, and research projects.
Assess student performance through examinations, clinical evaluations, and continuous assessments.
Promote evidence-based learning and cutting-edge teaching methodologies.

Clinical

Responsibilities - Supervise diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of orthodontic patients.
Guide students in the execution of fixed, removable, functional, and interceptive orthodontic treatments.
Ensure quality patient care while adhering to ethical and clinical standards.




Monitor infection control practices and patient safety protocols within the department. Qualification - BDS from a recognized institution.
MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from a recognized university.
Registration with the State Dental Council/Dental Council of India (DCI) or relevant regulatory authority.
Eligibility as per the latest Dental Council of India (DCI) norms for the post of Professor.

Experience - Teaching and clinical experience as prescribed by the latest DCI regulations for appointment as Professor in Orthodontics.
Minimum 4 years of Demonstrated experience in postgraduate teaching, research supervision, and academic administration.
Robust publication record in indexed journals is preferred.
