We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, banking activities, vendor payments, tax compliances, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, experience in bookkeeping, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile bank statements, account balances, and maintain the general ledger.
Execute month-end closing activities and prepare supporting schedules.
Process vendor payments and ensure timely settlement of invoices.
Manage banking transactions and coordinate with banks for operational requirements.
Support monthly direct and indirect tax compliances, including TDS, GST, and Income Tax.
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for statutory and external audits.
Assist with ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
3 -7 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
Working knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Positive verbal and written communication skills in English.
Valuable stakeholder management and coordination skills.
High attention to detail with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
