Responsibilities
- Plan and manage a content calendar mixing founder-led, lifestyle, educational, and community/UGC content across Instagram (and other platforms as needed)
- Edit and format short-form video (Reels) from raw founder footage
- Design carousels and static posts on-brand (Canva or similar)
- Write captions and hooks aligned with brand voice
- Manage posting schedule and platform best practices (timing, hashtags, trends)
- Monitor and flag comments needing founder response
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, saves/shares) and report monthly with recommendations
- Support coordination with influencers/UGC creators as partnerships launch
- Stay current on platform trends and proactively suggest content formats/ideas
- Occasionally assist with light community-building initiatives (polls, Q&As;, giveaways)
What We're Looking For
- 0-1 year managing social media for a brand (wellness, health, lifestyle, or D2C experience strongly preferred)
- Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Inshot or similar)
- Eye for clean, on-brand design (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)
- Excellent writing skills, can capture a founder's authentic voice, not generic brand-speak
- Understanding of what makes wellness/lifestyle content perform (educational, relatable, founder-led formats)
- Comfortable working independently, proactive with ideas rather than waiting on direction
