Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Upwork Business Development Executive who has a proven track record of generating leads, submitting winning proposals, securing client meetings, and converting opportunities into projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on Upwork and a solid understanding of how to identify quality opportunities, write customized proposals and build long-term client relationships.

Roles & Responsibilities
Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork.
Analyze job requirements and prepare customized, client-focused proposals.
Generate qualified leads and secure client meetings.
Communicate with prospective clients and manage the complete sales cycle.
Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams for solution discussions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Negotiate project terms and assist in closing deals.
Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Track bidding performance, response rates and conversion metrics.




Stay updated with Upwork trends, best practices and platform changes.

Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in Upwork bidding and business development.
Proven experience in generating responses and acquiring clients through Upwork.
Solid understanding of Upwork proposal strategies and client engagement.
Experience handling IT services projects, preferably Salesforce, CRM projects.
Ability to identify genuine prospects and avoid low-quality leads.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
Experience in achieving monthly lead generation and revenue targets.

Key Evaluation Criteria
Number of proposals submitted per month.
Average response rate achieved.
Number of client meetings generated.
Number and value of projects won through Upwork.
Experience handling end-to-end client communication and deal closure.
