Job Summary
The Senior Design Lead at HCL will be responsible for overseeing the Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) processes while demonstrating proficiency in CAD Design Skills, particularly using Creo software. The role will involve leading design initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the efficient assembly of products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate dfma activities to enhance product manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
Utilize cad design skills to create detailed designs and specifications for manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify design improvements and cost saving prospects.
Implement best practices in dfma to streamline production processes and reduce timetomarket.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Skill Requirements
Proficiency in design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma)



principles and methodologies.
Solid cad design skills with expertise in using creo software.
Ability to interpret and create detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
Solid understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to provide creative design solutions.

Other Requirements
1.Certification in CAD design software like Creo is preferred.
