Job Objective

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic English and Soft Skills Trainer for our Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) skill development center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming rural, socio-economically marginalized youth into career-ready individuals. You will deliver impactful training in functional English, communication, workplace etiquette, and interview preparation to ensure high placement readiness, strictly adhering to standard DDU-GKY guidelines and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

- Training Delivery: Conduct daily interactive training sessions covering functional/spoken English, active listening, presentation skills, public speaking, and body language.
- Life & Soft Skills Facilitation: Teach crucial life skills, including time management, teamwork, emotional intelligence, corporate etiquette, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Placement Readiness: Conduct mock interviews, resume-writing workshops, group discussions, and grooming sessions to boost student confidence for corporate placements.
- Lesson Planning & Customization: Develop and follow lesson plans in alignment with the DDU-GKY curriculum, adopting adult learning principles (andragogy) to suit rural youth.
- Assessments & Evaluation: Conduct weekly/monthly formative assessments, track student learning curves, provide individual feedback, and maintain progress reports.
- Documentation & Compliance (SOP): Strictly maintain DDU-GKY standard documentation, including daily biometric attendance logs,



batch records, lesson logs, and training center compliance files.
- Post-Placement Counseling: Assist the placement team in counseling students and managing parental expectations regarding migration and workplace environments.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline (English Literature, Corporate Communication, or MBA/Humanities preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an English Teacher, Soft Skills Trainer, or Personality Development Facilitator (Prior experience in central government skilling projects like DDU-GKY, PMKVY, or NULM is a major advantage).
- Certifications (Preferred): ToT (Training of Trainers) certified by Sector Skill Council (SSC) or certified under DDU-GKY e-SOP framework is highly desirable.

Core Competencies & Skills

- Language Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain concepts fluently in the local regional language/Hindi.
- Empathy: High level of patience and empathy towards the unique learning challenges of underprivileged rural youth.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and using smart classroom tools or digital teaching platforms.
- Classroom Management: Excellent capability to drive high engagement, keep students motivated, and manage batch attendance targets.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
