Key Responsibilities:
Perform Incident Management, Problem Management, Service request management, Change Management activities that are assigned through Service Now tool.
Diagnose and resolve SAP system errors, dumps, and crashes
Analyse system performance (SAP instances, work processes, background jobs) and optimize database and memory utilization
Investigate recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Ensure high availability of SAP applications by monitoring servers, databases, and network connectivity.
Manage transport requests between development, quality, and production systems.
Troubleshoot failed transport requests, inconsistencies, and object locking issues.
Provide updates to functional teams and business users on technical issue resolutions.
Manage user access, authorizations, and role-based security in SAP
Support all the SAP projects in maintaining the roles in the Client specified standard template as per the SAP best practices
Perform client copies, refreshes, and client-specific maintenance tasks.
Monitor and optimize background jobs, batch jobs, and workflows.




Perform regular cleanup activities such as log file management, spool deletion, and table reorganization.
Maintain SAP security certificates, SSL configurations, and SSO authentication.
Apply SAP Support Packages, Enhancement Packs (EHPs), Kernel Updates, and Security Patches.
Perform SAP system refreshes, OS/DB migrations, and version upgrades.
Define and execute SAP backup and restore strategies.
Apply SAP Notes and security patches to prevent vulnerabilities.
Generate system logs, access reports, and change tracking reports for internal audits.
Assist in Segregation of Duties (SOD) checks and compliance reporting
Prepare and maintain system architecture, transport paths, and database maintenance guides.
Ensure secure connectivity between SAP ERP, SAP CPI, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and ServiceNow.
Assignment of SAP Roles & Authorizations, Cleansing the existing roles and authorizations as per the best practices.
