n PW Digital University (PWDU) is an upcoming digital-first university established under the Punjab Private Digital Open Universities Policy, 2026. The university draws on the technology and academic delivery expertise of Physics Wallah's broader digital learning ecosystem.
n About the Role
n PWDU is seeking an Assistant Professor in Political Science to drive academic content development and curriculum delivery for its BA Political Science programme. The successful candidate will work within a technology-enabled, UGC-compliant Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Education framework.
n Responsibilities
n n Curriculum & Content: Develop, update, review, and maintain Political Science course curriculum, Self-Learning Materials (SLMs), video content, e-content, and assessments in line with UGC ODL and Online Regulations.
n Course Delivery: Coordinate course delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS).
n Student Engagement: Conduct live classes for assigned courses, moderate discussion forums, resolve students' queries, and provide academic support to learners.
n Assessments: Conduct and monitor continuous assessments and examinations.




n Collaboration: Coordinate with Course Mentors and other faculty to ensure effective course delivery.
n Quality Assurance: Ensure the academic rigor, pedagogical quality, originality, and regulatory compliance of course content across assigned subject areas.
n Academic Processes: Contribute to curriculum design, academic calendars, and departmental academic processes as per NEP-2020.
n Record Keeping: Maintain course records and recommend improvements based on learner feedback.
n n Qualifications
n Candidates must meet one of the following criteria in the relevant discipline (Political Science) as per UGC norms:
n n A PG Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and a Ph.D. Degree.
n A PG degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and qualification in the National Eligibility Test (NET/SLET/SET).
n n Required Skills
n n Demonstrated experience in content development, curriculum design, or teaching within an online/ODL setting.
n Robust familiarity with LMS platforms and digital assessment systems.
