n About the Role
n PWDU is seeking passionate and qualified Assistant Professors – B.Com to develop and deliver high-quality academic content for undergraduate Commerce programmes within a technology-enabled, UGC-compliant Open & Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Education framework.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Develop and update curriculum, Self-Learning Materials (SLMs), e-content, video lectures, assessments, and learning resources for B.Com subjects.
n Deliver courses through the Learning Management System (LMS) and conduct engaging live online classes.
n Design and evaluate assignments, quizzes, continuous assessments, and examinations.
n Mentor students, resolve academic queries, and moderate discussion forums.
n Collaborate with Course Mentors, SMEs, and faculty for effective course delivery.
n Ensure academic quality, originality, and compliance with UGC ODL Regulations and NEP 2020.
n Maintain course records, monitor learner progress, and recommend curriculum improvements.
n n Eligibility Criteria
n n Master's Degree (M.Com)



in Commerce from a recognised university.
n NET qualified (preferred); Ph.D. in Commerce or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
n Prior teaching, curriculum development, or online education experience is preferred.
n Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching platforms is desirable.
n n Required Skills
n n Solid knowledge of Commerce subjects, including Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Law, Economics, and Management.
n Excellent academic writing, content development, presentation, and communication skills.
n Familiarity with UGC ODL Regulations, NEP 2020, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
n Solid analytical, mentoring, and organisational abilities.

n n Experience teaching B.Com/Commerce courses through online or blended learning.
n Proficiency in LMS, AI-enabled teaching tools, and digital-first pedagogy.
