The Business Planning role is responsible for driving strategic planning, business performance reviews, forecasting, data-driven insights, and execution support for key business initiatives. The position plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with organizational goals through structured analysis, planning, and cross-functional coordination.

Work Experience

4–10 years of experience in Business Planning, MIS, Strategy, Analytics, or Sales Planning (experience level can be customized).

Experience in BFSI/FMCG/Telecom domains is an added advantage.

Essential Qualification

MBA / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Strategy, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Skills

A. Strategic & Annual Operating Planning

Support development of Annual Operating Plans (AOP), quarterly business plans, and long-term strategic goals.

Identify business growth opportunities through market research and internal data analysis.

Assist in setting performance targets, productivity norms, and strategic priorities.

B. Business Performance Management





Track and evaluate monthly business performance against targets (sales, productivity, cost, profitability).

Prepare management dashboards, scorecards, and consolidated review decks.

Highlight risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities to leadership with clear action recommendations.

C. Forecasting & Analytics

Develop data models to support forecasting for sales, hiring, attrition, productivity, and expenses.

Support digital initiatives, automation projects, and workflow improvements.

3. Key Skills & Competencies

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Business acumen with understanding of sales operations and financial metrics.

High attention to detail, structured thinking, and planning capability.
