About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our USA-based business. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, experience handling both online and offline sales, inventory management, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. The candidate should be capable of working independently while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

For experienced candidates with a proven track record, flexible working hours may be considered based on performance and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting activities for the USA business.
- Record and maintain sales transactions from both online and offline channels.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and merchant settlements.
- Maintain accurate stock and inventory records across all sales platforms.
- Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments accurately.
- Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal accounting procedures.
- Generate management reports for sales, inventory, profitability, and cash flow.




- Support external accountants or auditors by providing necessary financial data.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting and inventory processes through automation and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and inventory management (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience handling inventory for retail, wholesale, or e-commerce businesses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, Tally, or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of online marketplace reconciliations (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with USA-based businesses.
- Knowledge of inventory forecasting and stock planning.
- Familiarity with e-commerce accounting workflows.
- Ability to prepare management reports and MIS.
- Experience handling large volumes of transactions efficiently.
