Job Title: Senior Manager – Fund Accounting (NAV Operations)

Core Focus: Daily NAV Production, Valuation, and Exception Resolution

Job Purpose

The Senior Manager of NAV Operations directly controls the end-to-end production, validation, and delivery of daily Net Asset Values (NAV). This role focuses on maintaining error-free accounting logs within Multifonds, managing complex valuations, and enforcing strict quality control checks before client release.

Key Responsibilities

· NAV Production Management: Oversee the end-to-end daily computation, validation, and final publication of NAVs within strict client and regulatory cut-offs.

· Multifonds Ledger Control: Drive the trial balance review, general ledger (GL) reconciliations, and cash/position break resolutions inside the Multifonds workplace.

· Valuation & Pricing Oversight: Validate daily asset pricing, corporate actions, and fair value adjustments across complex asset classes like fixed income, equities, and derivatives.

· Exception & Variance Analysis: Investigate and resolve high-value NAV variances, unexpected yield movements, and material line-item discrepancies.

· NAV Error Mitigation: Enforce rigorous maker-checker control frameworks to completely eliminate NAV errors, pricing misses, or ledger mismatches.

· Audit & Quality Assurance: Lead the preparation of period-end accounting packs and serve as the main point of contact for internal, statutory, and client NAV audits.

· Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to SEBI and AMFI guidelines,



manage Total Expense Ratio (TER) limitations, and review statutory filings and periodic reports.

· Process Automation & UAT: Drive system implementations, run User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and automate back-office operations to improve efficiency.

· Team & Stakeholder Leadership: Direct medium-to-large accounting teams, mentor staff, and liaise with external auditors, custodians, brokers, clients and RTAs.

· Reconciliations: Overview daily reconciliations process for bank, holding, transactions and capital.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CS / CMA or Master's degree in Commerce.

· Experience: 6 to 8 years in fund accounting / unit linked fund accounting, specifically centered on core NAV calculation and ledger maintenance.

· System Expertise: Advanced, hands-on operational proficiency in Multifonds core accounting modules.

· Technical Accounting: Deep knowledge of accruals, expense processing, amortization, income distribution, and multi-currency fund accounting rules. Deep understanding of Fund Accounting standards, and regulations from SEBI. Hands-on proficiency on advanced MS Excel and macro tools.

· Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot automated feed failures, pricing source mismatches, and data integrity drops under tight delivery windows.

· Risk Management: Proven capability to enforce strict maker-checker controls to prevent NAV errors and compliance defaults under tight daily cutoff windows.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
