Job Description – Lecturer (Palliative Care)

Position: Lecturer – Palliative Care
Department: Nursing
Location: Sri Sri Institute of Nursing College.

Qualifications :-

- M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in Geriatric Care.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching and/or assessment experience.

OR

- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Geriatric Care.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or assessment experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Palliative Care and related subjects.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
- Conduct student evaluations, examinations, and competency assessments.
- Guide and supervise students during clinical postings and practical training.
- Facilitate learning through case discussions, demonstrations, and evidence-based practices.




- Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance clinical learning experiences.
- Support research, continuing education, and career development activities.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

- Sound knowledge of palliative and geriatric care principles.
- Strong teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and assess students effectively.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and educational technologies.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
