Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA MES Liaison / MES Upgrade Assessment Lead to serve as the key bridge between SAP S/4HANA and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The ideal candidate will lead MES upgrade assessments, ensure seamless ERP-MES integration, support end-to-end testing, and provide strategic recommendations for MES modernization initiatives.

As part of the MES Center of Excellence, you will collaborate with business, manufacturing, and technical teams to ensure successful MES upgrade planning, integration, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary liaison between SAP S/4HANA and MES teams.
- Lead MES upgrade assessments, readiness reviews, and modernization planning.
- Evaluate existing MES capabilities, integrations, scalability, and performance.
- Design and support ERP-MES integrations using APIs, IDocs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
- Manage end-to-end testing, interface validation, data reconciliation, and production readiness.
- Coordinate cutover planning, risk management, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, business, and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, assessment reports, and executive-level recommendations.





Required Skills

- 12+ years of IT experience with strong Manufacturing domain expertise.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
- Robust experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Experience conducting MES Upgrade Assessments and upgrade planning.
- Expertise in ERP-MES Integration.
- Experience with SAP IDocs, BAPIs, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
- Hands-on experience with middleware platforms such as:
- SAP CPI
- SAP PO
- MuleSoft
- Boomi
- Kepware
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production data flows.
- Experience with testing strategy, cutover planning, deployment, and hypercare.
- Knowledge of ISA-95 manufacturing integration standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Additional SAP functional knowledge in:

- Batch Management
- Serial Number Management

Experience in CSV/Validation within regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
