Job Overview

We are looking for a Backend Operations Executive to support the daily operations of our fashion retail business. The role involves managing inventory, product data, order processing, and coordination with vendors and store teams to ensure smooth backend operations and seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage product catalog including SKUs, sizes, colors, pricing, and descriptions
- Maintain accurate inventory records across stores, warehouse, and online platforms
- Coordinate with suppliers, designers, and merchandisers for stock updates and new arrivals
- Track fast-moving and slow-moving fashion items to support stock planning
- Process purchase orders, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and invoices
- Handle returns, exchanges, and damaged stock updates in the system
- Support order processing for online and offline sales channels
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports on sales, inventory, and stock movement
- Assist in seasonal launches, promotions, and discount updates
- Ensure proper tagging, barcoding, and product classification

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Fashion Management, Business Administration, or related field




- 1–3 years of experience in retail, preferably in fashion or apparel (freshers with relevant exposure can apply)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (ZOHO preferred)
- Understanding of fashion retail operations (sizes, SKUs, collections, trends)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with fashion retail brands, boutiques, or e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of merchandising and seasonal inventory planning
- Basic understanding of online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)
