Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AGM – HR (Talent Acquisition) to lead the end-to-end recruitment function for a large manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in hiring for Integrated Steel Plants, Iron & Steel, or Heavy Metal Manufacturing industries. The role requires expertise in strategic manpower planning, leadership hiring, bulk recruitment, employer branding, and talent acquisition across plant, corporate, and project functions.

Note: Candidates without experience in Integrated Steel Plants, Iron & Steel, or Heavy Engineering Manufacturing will not be considered.Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete Talent Acquisition function for plant and corporate hiring.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to fulfill manpower requirements across all levels.
- Handle recruitment for leadership, technical, engineering, production, maintenance, operations, finance, HR, SCM, quality, safety, projects, commercial, and corporate functions.
- Manage large-scale hiring for both white-collar and critical technical positions.
- Coordinate with Plant Heads, Functional Heads, and Management to understand workforce requirements.
- Build strong talent pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
- Develop sourcing strategies through job portals, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, employee referrals, campus hiring, and networking.
- Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining quality of hires.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top manufacturing talent.
- Track recruitment KPIs including TAT, cost-per-hire, offer-to-joining ratio, and hiring quality.
- Lead salary benchmarking and offer negotiations in coordination with HR leadership.
- Build relationships with recruitment consultants and external hiring partners.




- Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and industry best practices.
- Generate recruitment MIS, dashboards, and monthly hiring reports.
- Mentor and lead the Talent Acquisition team for high-performance delivery.
- Support organizational expansion, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Graduation from a recognized university.
- HR certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 8–18+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role handling recruitment for manufacturing organizations.
- Mandatory experience in Integrated Steel Plant, Steel Manufacturing, Iron Manufacturing, or Heavy Metal Industries.
- Experience in hiring for large manufacturing plants and technical workforce is essential.
