Experience

Education

Any one of the following:

- B.Sc. (Chemistry)
- M.Sc. (Chemistry)
- B.Tech / M.Tech (Food Technology)
- B.Tech / M.Tech (Agricultural Engineering / Agricultural Processing)
- Diploma in Food Technology
- Diploma in Laboratory Technology
- B.Sc. (Microbiology) – Preferred

Job Responsibilities

- Receive and inspect raw material samples (Maize, Groundnut, Cotton Seed).
- Perform laboratory testing as per company standards.
- Check moisture, oil content, FFA (Free Fatty Acid), impurities, damaged kernels, foreign matter, and other quality parameters.
- Test finished products such as Maize Oil, Groundnut Oil, Cotton Seed Oil, Oil Cakes, and related products.
- Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Follow SOPs, GMP, and quality control procedures.
- Coordinate with the Production, Purchase, and Quality teams.
- Ensure accurate reporting and timely release of test results.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.




- Understanding of edible oil and oilseed quality parameters.
- Knowledge of moisture analysis, oil extraction analysis, FFA, peroxide value, and basic chemical testing.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word).
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
