Advertisement for Project Associate role in 5G/6G Project IIT Hyderabad

1. Name of post Project Officer 4

2. Job Description  Leading all the technical activities of IITH and taking care of the
overall planning for a self-sustained operation. Creating a vigorous
outreach program, writing reports and project proposals; managing
the project staff; evaluating and monitoring the project activities.
Reviewing the design and implementation, guiding and mentoring
the team leads and team members, and Project Management,
Development of 6G End-to-End Communication System/ Embedded
firmware and Testing of 6G End-to-End Communication System.
Software/hardware design/ embedded systems expert with B. Tech or
M. Tech with an experience of over 4 years.

3. Essential
Qualification

B tech / BE/ M tech ME / MS Master’s Bachelor’s degree Electrical /Electronic
engineering, Computer engineering, /MCA/MSC/Bsc/ BCA , Bachelor of Science or
Equivalent practical experience

4. Skills
/Experience
Required

 Domian Knowledge on RTL Design, implementation, and integrations for
FPGA Designs.

 Experience with Intel or Xilinx FPGAs, especially MPSoC FPGA
 Knowledge with RTL coding using Verilog/System Verilog.
 Architecture exploration and Micro-architecture development

 RTL design and integration for 5G NR UE systems
using Verilog/System Verilog

 Strong debugging capabilities at RTL simulation and FPGA Emulation
 Design & develop a 5G L2/L3 protocol stack (RAN & UE).





 Excellent C programming skills with solid debugging and

troubleshooting skills over the Linux platform.
 Provided guidance and mentorship to team leads and members

throughout the development lifecycle.
 Design, implementation, and project management of the 6G End-to-End

Communication System, including embedded firmware development
and system testing.

 A good understanding of Networks, Network Protocols & hands-on
experience with UDP/TCP/IP is required



5. Consolidated
Pay

2,40,000 to 2,95,000

6. Tenure of
employment

Contract period of 11 months. However, candidate can be reengaged for
subsequent terms based on his/her performance and requirement of the
Department/Institute.

2.The candidate will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria, academic
record, and relevant experience and selected based on the performance is the
Witten interview.
3 Date and time of interview: this will be intimated to shortlisted candidates via

4 IIT Hyderabad reserves the right to alter the number of vacancies or keep it
