As part of our newly established Revenue Operations team, we are seeking Deal Desk & Sales Support Executives to join our Chennai office. The role will primarily focus on supporting the quoting and approval process to ensure deals are closed efficiently and profitably, acting as a vital link between sales, finance, legal, and other functions.
The secondary focus is to provide general sales supportmaintaining systems, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth commercial operations. Key Responsibilities:
Deal Desk
Review submitted orders in Saleforce.com to ensure each order adheres to set standards
Educating and providing pricing guidance on discounts and deal structures, especially in light of soon to be introduced recent pricing
Managing approval process, navigating internal process or escalating issues if needed
Facilitating communication and collaboration between sales, finance, legal, and other teams to ensure smooth deal execution
Create replacement opportunities where necessary
Sales Support
Execute the fulfilment of printed copies of claims and other material
Review and document end-to-end revenue processes
Proactively maintain vendor forms and registration portals
Reassign Leads based on reassignment rules
Manage and respond to queries addressed to the Sales Ops inbox in a timely manner
Support the RevOps team to maintain data hygiene
What we are looking for:
Essential
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal & written
Very strong organisational skills
Process driven
At least 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally in a subscription business
Experience in working cross-functionally
Technical aptitude, an ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
Commercial Empathy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in written and spoken English
Desirable
Proficiency in Salesforce, CPQ, DocuSign
Experience in working in a global role
A degree in any discipline (Business or Finance related degrees preferable)
