We’re looking for a sharp, commercially minded Estimator & Technical Lead to join our team delivering hyperscale data centre and commercial cabling solutions. The Chance

You’ll sit at the critical intersection of pre-construction, engineering, and delivery, ensuring every solution is:

- Commercially competitive

From major fibre backbones to dense copper infrastructure in mission-critical environments, you’ll help define how world-class data centres and commercial cabling systems are built.

What You’ll Own

Estimating & Commercial Excellence

- Break down complex RFQs, drawings, and specs into clear, buildable scopes
- Develop detailed BOQs across fibre, copper, containment, pathways, racks, and testing
- Deliver accurate, competitive cost estimates using real-world productivity and supplier pricing
- Identify risks, gaps, and design issues before they become problems
- Lead high-quality tender submissions with smart methodology and value engineering
- Support seamless handover into delivery with full commercial clarity

Technical Leadership

- Act as the go-to technical authority for structured cabling systems
- Review and validate designs, shop drawings, and installation methodologies
- Guide project teams through installation, coordination, and commissioning challenges
- Ensure full compliance with AS/CA S009, AS/NZS 3000, TIA/EIA,



and client standards
- Oversee testing & commissioning (OTDR, ILM, copper certification)
- Drive smarter ways of building through innovation and value engineering

What You Will Bring

Must-Have

- 5+ years in ICT, structured cabling, or data centre infrastructure
- Strong estimating experience in cabling/electrical/ICT environments
- Deep technical understanding of fibre, copper, containment, and pathways
- Experience in data centre or mission-critical projects
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications
- Strong command of industry standards (AS/CA S009, TIA/EIA, AS/NZS 3000)
- Confident with Excel, estimating tools, and technical documentation
- Strong communicator who can influence across teams and stakeholders

Bonus Points

- Vendor certifications (Commscope, Panduit, Corning)
- BIM / REVIT / Bluebeam experience
- Site leadership or project engineering background
- Hands-on testing experience (OTDR, copper certification)
