Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with different types of cancer.
- Conduct detailed patient consultations and review medical history.
- Perform physical examinations and recommend diagnostic tests such as biopsies, scans, and blood tests.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the patient's condition and medical reports.
- Perform cancer-related surgeries (for Surgical Oncologists) or prescribe and manage chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and other medical treatments (for Medical Oncologists).
- Monitor patients' progress throughout treatment and adjust treatment plans when required.
- Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care to improve patient comfort.
- Follow hospital protocols and ensure high standards of patient safety and quality care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements, clinical guidelines, and research in oncology.
- Ensure ethical medical practice and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
- DM / M.Ch or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- 03 years of experience in Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology.
- Robust knowledge of cancer diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, and patient management.
- Excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and counseling skills to guide patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
