Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales:

Identify and develop recent business opportunities in OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial customers.

Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Marketing & Strategy:

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs in the wiring harness sector.

Assist in developing marketing strategies, branding activities, and promotional campaigns.

Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits to enhance market visibility.

Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.

3. Coordination & Communication:

Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with the procurement and logistics departments for order execution.

Maintain detailed records of sales activities,



enquiries, and quotations in CRM or company database.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare periodic sales and marketing reports for management review.

Track competitors activities and prepare market intelligence reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Education: B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field. MBA in Marketing preferred.

Experience: 2–10 years of experience in sales/marketing of wiring harness parts.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with wiring harness components, connectors, terminals, and assembly processes.

Skills:

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to understand technical drawings and customer specifications.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Customer relationship management and problem-solving ability.

Willingness to travel for business visits and client meetings.
