Role & responsibilities

- Journal Entries: Preparing and posting month-end journal entries for provisions, accruals, and prepayments.
- Account Reconciliations: Reconciling balance sheet, bank, intercompany, and sub-ledger accounts.
- Month-End Closing: Supporting and executing timely period-close cycles within strict deadlines.
- Financial Reporting: Generating profit and loss (P&L;) statements, balance sheets, and trial balances.
- Variance Analysis: Performing month-over-month variance analysis to identify unexpected financial trends.
- Fixed Assets: Managing the fixed asset register from capitalization to depreciation and disposal.

Preferred candidate profile





- A bachelors degree in commerce or professional Certification is preferred.
- 1-6 years of relevant work experience in R2R/ General Ledger accounting
- Rich experience in GL Accounting, Accruals & Prepaids, Reconciliations (Bank & Intercompany), Month-End / Year-End Close.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Previous experience in governance meetings and managing relationships with Key Accounts Managers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
