We're Hiring: Plant Head (Aerospace & Defence Precision Manufacturing)

Location: Bangalore, India | Full-time | Reports to CEO / Management

Company Description MSA Global Technology & Engineering Private Limited is a certified AS9100D aerospace and defence manufacturer with advanced precision manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru and a liaison office in New Delhi. Founded in 2016, the company has evolved from a military hardware trading business into a manufacturer of mission-critical components for demanding customers such as TASL, GE India, Dynamatics Technologies, Rangsons Aerospace, and the Indian Army.

MSA produces Class 1 aero structural components, aero engine parts, large caliber weapon assemblies, and direct-to-soldier tactical precision equipment. Its edge lies in 5-axis simultaneous machining, micron-level tolerances, expertise in exotic alloys, and AS9100 Rev D + DGQA certified quality systems built for zero-failure environments. An in-house engineering team ensures end-to-end manufacturing readinessfrom 3D modelling to serial productionwith a focus on first-time-right execution.

MSA is looking for an experienced Plant Head to take full ownership of our precision machining facility in Bangalore - production, engineering, quality, safety, admin, security, and compliance, end-to-end.

This is a senior leadership role and a long-term commitment (5+ years) for someone ready to grow with the business as a founding pillar of our aerospace and defence machining capability.

Who we need:15+ years in high-volume precision machining, with 5+ years in a Plant Head, GM, or P&L; leadership role

Background in mass production of precision machined components - axles, crankshafts, engine parts, transmission components, or equivalent





Experience in a Tier 1 or large-scale Tier 2 supplier environment (aerospace or automotive or precision industrial)

Directly managed 150+ people across engineering and production - not just shop floor supervision

Deep hands-on knowledge of 3/4/5-axis CNC machining across aluminium, titanium, stainless, and high-strength steel

Strong grounding in ISO 9001 or IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and GD&T; (AS9100 knowledge not required - we will support that learning on the job)

Please note: candidates from low-volume job shops, tool rooms, plastics, or non-machined-parts environments will not be considered, regardless of title or years of experience.

What you will own:

Full P&L; accountability - production, cost, quality, delivery

OEE, productivity, and capacity utilization across all machining cells

Quality management system, AS9100 certification journey, PPAP/FAI/customer approvals

Building and leading a high-performing team across engineering, production, quality, and support

Primary customer interface on quality, delivery, and technical escalations

Leadership style we are looking for:

Hands-on when it counts - goes to the floor in a crisis, not to a desk. A systems builder, not a hero-culture leader. Energetic, stable career history, and hungry to learn aerospace rapid.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering or equivalent

Preferred: exposure to aerospace materials, AS9100/NADCAP, Boeing/Airbus supply chain requirements, Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or above

Must be willing to relocate to or be based full-time in Bangalore
